Evening meals
We’ve always enjoyed entertaining our friends when they visit… we’ll make sure you feel comfortable and give you a super home cooked meal if you decide to eat with us. We’ve put many of our favourite meals on our menu, plus a few new ones we’ve tried since we’ve lived here in France.
We try to use local produce whenever we can, especially from the local village markets in Évaillé, Tresson, Saint-Calais and Bessé-sur-Braye.
Evening meals at Les Bouts de Ralle are often available by arrangement in advance, usually 24 hours, and cost 28€ per person for a three course meal followed by coffee or tea. You are of course welcome to bring your own wine to drink if you wish.
We normally serve evening meals at around 19h30 to 20h00.
• Pea, fennel and mint soup
• Twice baked cheese soufflés served with an apple and walnut salad
• Roasted tomato salad
Main
• Coq au vin, potatoes boulangères and mixed vegetables
• Boeuf bourguignon, potatoes and mixed vegetables
• Salmon roasted in Parma ham, roast potatoes and seasonal mixed vegetables
Dessert
• Tarte tartin served with ice-cream
• Raspberry and almond torte served with creme Anglais and a raspberry coulis
• Lemon and meringue pie served with ice-cream
(Evening meals are not always available on Saturday evenings).
